About the project

Mafia started as a quest for the perfect bag to carry wetsuits from plane to beach—backpacks and totes made in California from recycled sails that would otherwise end up in landfill, now a Certified B Corporation brand.

For agency D-Nexo, we implemented a wholesale intranet on the existing WordPress site: dealer registration with business and tax fields, account approval workflow, and a separate order portal where approved buyers upload request files and download the catalog.

Built with HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, PHP, and MySQL on Apache—custom templates, role-gated wholesale areas, file uploads, and email-driven onboarding so Mafia could onboard stockists and process bulk orders without exposing retail checkout flows.
