The World Wide Web Foundation, also known as the Web Foundation, is a US-based international non-profit advocating for a free and open web for everyone. Co-founded by Tim Berners-Lee and Rosemary Leith, it works to increase global access to the World Wide Web while ensuring the web is a safe, empowering tool people can use freely to improve their lives.
For agency Zonda, we built a custom WordPress theme for webfoundation.org: hero stories with tabbed features, programs hub (Web in Society, Web Standards, Web Science), about and governance pages, news and project updates, donate and volunteer modules, and a multi-column footer—with a green-and-red brand system for a global advocacy organisation.
Delivered on HTML5, CSS3, WordPress, and jQuery—sidebar navigation, content templates, newsletter signup, and CMS workflows so the Foundation team could publish programs, news, and calls to action without developer handoffs.
Foundation site—programs advocacy hub, initiative storytelling, and about pages for the open web mission.

We reply with a prioritized technical backlog — performance, stability, and conversion friction called out explicitly.
