Fontagro
Regional innovation in family farming—custom WordPress with interactive maps, search, member intranet, and rich publishing.
About the project
Fontagro is a cooperation mechanism among Latin American and Caribbean countries and Spain that promotes innovation in family farming, competitiveness, and food security—funding research and alliances across the region.
We built a custom WordPress theme for agency partner 451 with bespoke functionality: interactive member-country maps, site-wide search, custom post types for programs and results, and a registration and login flow powering a members-only intranet.
The public site layers hero sliders, statistics, news and video galleries, and partner branding—implemented with HTML, CSS, jQuery, PHP, and MySQL so Fontagro could publish calls, showcase impact, and serve authenticated stakeholders from one platform.
